
Wet mopping, single work step (direct method) using a spray mop
To remove stubborn dirt from floor coverings using a cleaning cloth and spray mopping unit.Also suitable for water-sensitive floor coverings. The residual moisture on the floor dries quickly.
Preparatory work
Select suitable products to match the surface to be cleaned (type / square metres) and the type of soiling.
Check, equip and prepare the spray mopping unit and any accessories according to the operating instructions.
Fill the pressure bottle with cleaning product in line with the dosing instructions. Close the pressure bottle, place it in the holder on the spray mopping unit and build up pressure (pump).
Put up the warning sign.
Remove any loose dirt (dust-binding mopping or dry vacuum cleaning).
Main task
Attach the mop to the spray mopping unit.
Spot cleaning: Spray a small amount of the cleaning solution from the spray mopping unit onto the stubborn dirt and clean up the dissolved dirt using the mop.
Cleaning entire surfaces: Start along the edges of the room and under furniture, then use the moistened mop and spray mopping unit to spray mop the open space in slightly overlapping passes.
Change the mop when it gets dirty and put it with the dirty laundry, or dispose of it if it is a disposable mop. Continue with step1 of the main cleaning until the entire area is clean.
Perform a visual check.
Final steps
Remove the warning sign once the floor covering is dry.
Clean the spray mopping unit in accordance with the operating instructions.
Wash reusable mops in the washing machine.
Dispose of any waste.
Clean the cleaning materials and replace as needed.
